Speed Dial Keys
How do I program and use Speed Dial Keys?
If you have unused keys on your digital or analog proprietary telephone, you can program them as speed dial keys.

With the handset down and the speakerphone off. |
KX-TD Digital Systems | KX-TA and KX-T analog Systems |

Press the PROGRAM key (PAUSE if you do not have a PROGRAM key), Dial 99 |
Move the memory switch on the end of the phone to PROGRAM or if you have a phone with a PROGRAM key, press PROGRAM. | |
| Press the key you want to program | ||
| If the keys light turns red, dial 2 (if you select a key without a light, skip this step) | ||
| Dial 0 or a line access number | ||
| Dial the number you want to program | ||
| Press the STORE key. (The key with AUTO DIAL above it and STORE below it) | ||
| Pick up handset, hang up | Move the memory switch on the end of the phone to SET or if you have a phone with a PROGRAM key, press PROGRAM. | |
TO USE: Pick up handset, press desired key.
Feature not available on standard single-line or cordless phones unless the phone has its own built-in programming functions.
