Station Speed Dial           KX-TD System Only

How do I program and use station speed dial?

Station Speed Dial is a feature on the digital systems that allows you to have up to 10 speed dial numbers stored at your extension.  These numbers are not on buttons and require you to use a 3 digit code to access each number.  The chart below shows how to enter 0201234567 and then dial the number by dialing 3*3.  When storing, remember to dial 0 or another line access code for an outside line and to press # after you have entered the number.

Intercom   30

Dial speed code (0 - 9)

Line Access Code (0)

Dial the number and #    Hang up

Using Station Speed Dialing

Intercom, Dial 3 *  Code (0-9).  System will make call

If you have programmed your phone to preferred line access to an outside line when you pick up the handset, you must press intercom before dialing the station speed dial.  Single-line phones are always in intercom mode when the handset is picked up.

If you want to program 020 1234567 in Dial Speed Code 3 you would do the following:
INTERCOM 30, 3, 0, 020 1234567, #, Hang Up.
To later call this person, press INTERCOM 3 * 3 and the number would be called.
Remember, you have 10 positions to program, 0 to 9.

All features the same on single-line devices.
