FLASH               How do I use the FLASH key?

While hearing any tone, dialing or talking;

System Default Operation
Multi-Line Proprietary Telephones Single-Line  or Cordless Phones
FLASH FLASH 6

You will hear new dial tone

Dial the new phone number

Allows you to disconnect from your current call and make another call without hang up the handset.  This is the normal default use for the Flash key.  If your single-line phone does not have a FLASH key, depress hook switch for 1/2 second and release, then dial 6.  You will hear a beep then new dial tone

Multi-Line Proprietary Telephones Single- Line & Single-Line Cordless Phones

Feature now available

Centrex/PBX: dial another number and press Flash for Centrex conference.  You now have a 3-way conference.  Hang up if you want to leave the other two connected.

 Call Waiting:  You now are connected to the new caller.  Press Flash to go back and forth between callers.

These features require system programming and optional features from your phone company or host PBX.
